I always knew that there were issues between the blacks and the whites, but I was unaware of all the issues associated with all of the other races. I was so stuck on all the problems I thought I had being black but I wasn't realizing that there are alot of people that have issues also. I really appreciate being able to read about the other races in the world. I especially liked to read about the asians. I thought that they were all smart and that they were respected everywhere for their diciplinary ways. I also knew that the biggest issues with race are within your own race. Everyone is suffering from somekind of racial problem so maybe I can see that what I thought was bad could just be the social norm. But I am also glad that we are able to read about this and know the struggles of the indians, mexicans, asians, and not just the two big issues with black and white. I always hear people talking about how they hate what people always say about them but, I just learned that most people inside of your race are the ones who are starting most of the issues.
