I was completely unaware of all the issues going on in this world. I knew that there were racial issues but I didn't know that they were held this strong. The japenese as a whole race were discriminated against because of the WWII issues, people are talked about because of their biological make-ups, and being a white man seems to be all you need in the world. I was taught in class that the japanese were bad for bombing us at pearl harbor and that we were kings and queens for getting them back with a lifetime of turmoil and pain but, we really made the issues worse! I still think that it is very weird that so many people are transgender, but I just don't realize that they are normal too. I was always taught like everybody else that normal was when guys have one part and girls have the other part. I was also always taught that the white man was almighty and that he knows all and that everything is wonderful when it comes to him. But what about all the reality that took me 19 years to learn this information. We don't learn these things early enough. I know there are more people out there like me who just are oblivious to these issues and that need to be informed. These are great stories and I enjoy learning more and more everyday.
