Is this race survivor really a big deal?

I really have no idea how the new Survivor will turn out, with the name of the game being race. With four different race groups, Asian, Black, Hispanic, and White, Survivor seems to be out to prove to the reality television audience who the “best” race is. I have no clue who the best race is, and in what context they will portray who the best race is. The show is trying to do something different than what is portrayed in television today, something too politically incorrect for today’s society, all for the high ratings. How much will this show actually impact the views of people in today’s society? In my view, the new Survivor will bring no change to their point of view on race. Racial supremacists will continue to be supremacists, and the believers in racial diversity with still be themselves.
Even though racial diversity is the norm today, racism still exists everywhere I go with only the ignorant would say otherwise. Hearing constant streams of racial jokes, seeing the difference in cultures between many races such as Asian and White, this “diversity” still is not “true” diversity. I think that complete and true racial diversity will and can never happen, with each culture’s beliefs and teachings completely different from each other. It is this diversity in within itself that separates people and creates individuals. The only way everyone can “get along” is if each culture somehow forgets their own cultural identities and mixes integrates into the mainstream society. Once this happens, they are accepted into the “group”, and all becomes the same/equal.
The new Survivor will create a stir, but I think that the hype is much larger than what it looks like on the surface.
