A step forward or back...

Congratulations CBS. You have yet again managed to put another intriguing idea into a TV show to further you're ratings. But is this idea and the thoughts that will run through young kids minds worth you're ratings. Growing up as impressionable young children we notice the differences between our friends, but are taught to treat each other no different then the rest. Don't get me wrong, we are all individuals and different in our own way. But to compete one race against another is planting seeds in the minds youth of today. Ya it's one series. But what will our children be thinking when they watch this show.

To think that, at recess, a friendly game of basketball would turn into a divided activity where one ethnic group played another is scary. I thought we were working against this. I don't know what I would have thought if, at a younger age, this would have come on. I hope this does not turn into a trend on TV shows today...

On the other hand, to the more grown up and mature mind, could this have the potential to bring everyone together with there separate identities? To act like all people are the exact same, and there is no difference between to two individuals can and is a bad way to view life. We are all differently created equal...Does this have the potential to come back and bit CBS in the ass...I can't wait to find out.
