Cinderella Story not so Happy

As we watched the short film in class on monday, I couldn't help to feel as if the film was not 100% accurate. It is obvious that the region played a mojor role in the films making, and for this, the film is not portrayed in an accurate manor. The kids in Long Island, a commonly liberal area, do not perceive sex in the same monor as a child growing up in a conservative, Christian region. The students in the film stated that they did it because they were bored and that there was nothing else to do in Long Island. I do not take bordem as an excuse to freely give away your body. I am from a medium size city in Indiana, and although I have never been to Long Island, I do know that there is probably alot more to do in an area just outside of New York city, than in a small town in Indiana. Sex is not something to do to cure a case of bordem. The kids also stated how their parents didn't really oppose the idea of them doing such things. Where I am from, that is majorly frowned upon, and that is probably an understatement. If the film wanted to portray how young people think about sex, then they should have found points from all areas, religions, and political status'.
