This video made a very poor argument with a limited area of research. This study was limited to one area and socially similar people. First of all, this video made it appear that men only look at women as an object. The young men talked to degraded women, pretty much just using them for sex. The young ladies at first would say how this was happening, and they knew it was wrong, but would go right along with it. This is a very vague study, using almost only one perspective. Many girls were used, while only two young men. It is very one-sided and makes people appear worse from the area than everyone is. The study done was very vague, such as when they said they would do it because they were bored. It made it appear that if you are bored, you have sex. Hopefully, this is not true for everyone. There was no diversity in the people that were interviewed. New York has many types of people, and everyone that was used was the same class. They all were from families of divorced parents. They have seen and grown up around many different things than what other people have. It also puts a negative stereotype on all people of this city. The video focused on them, making it clear what city it was, and made a pretty negative film. To make a better argument, other people from different classes, status, and location should have been used.
