Wow

The things I heard while watching the Cinderella Story during English class astounded me. I would have never thought I would hear such words coming out of people’s mouths. However, I cannot take it too seriously because this video did a very poor job of representing all sides. All the people that were interviewed were from divorced families, lived in New York, and liked to party. In order for there to be a true representation one would have to interview people of different ages, socioeconomic class, religion, and region. This video also showed no statistical information and everything said could have just been made up. Therefore, this video had no ethos. The video was vary biased in that it only showed one side of the argument and by watching it you would be safe to assume that a girl created it. It seemed like all guys wanted was sex and that if a guy was romantic people would consider him to be “gay” for showing feelings. The kids in this video also had some lame excuses for having sex: their parents were divorced, they lived in a boring town, there was nothing else to do. This video was just ridiculous. I even showed it to my roommate and all she could saw was “wow”. It is just very unbelievable and it bothers me because they are making people my age everywhere look bad and not everyone feels the same way about sex. The guys also were not fairly represented here.
