Overview

When I first arrived to the classroom in August, I was scared and a little overwhelmed. I didn't know how I would be able to handle this class but now looking back, I am incredibly greatful that I got placed into the class that I did. I have learned a great deal in this class, and also learned to observe people in a light that I never knew existed. When I was home for Thanksgiving break, I gave a big speal to everyone on homosocial bonds and male friendships and how they have evolved over time. I was shocked with what I was saying, but had a sense of accomplishment and pride that I have gained from this class alone.
The main thing that I will take away from this class, is how I should not ever judge people. after reading the things that we did in class, things have changed, and my views on other people have been forever changed. All my expectations that I had for this class over the summer have been met 100% and I would definantly recomend this class to any incoming freshman, and I would hope that they got a class as great as ours. I am so glad that we had a theme to the class that is applicabe to the world that we live in, and are surrounded by each day, and that is what I appreciate most about what I have learned. I can honestly say that I will miss coming in a having our class discussions!
