stuff

The sources that we used throughout the course of the semester ranged from very helpful to unhelpful. I really didn't think the text was very useful just because it did not really give much insight past people hating another group of people. The strories conveyed good messages, it was just that it was all basically the same, and that is being you need to repsect people for who they are. The movies and tv shows we watched were extrmemly helpful because i am more a visual person and it was also entertaining at the same time. IT was nice to be able to watch simpsons and get useful academic information out of it as well. I would have to say my favorite was when mr. severe did the presentation on purdue's library sources and having him force us to research different things. this was especially useful and i must admit if he never showed us this method of research, i probably would not have even used these valuable resources. The only one i did not really care for was Jstore just because it was a bit confusing to me and it didnt really deliver much information that i felt i could use. I am also very glad that we were shown exactly how to use the library search engine, this helped me a ton for the two papers we wrote which required textual references. Overall, i was really pleased witht he resources available to us in the class.
