No Cinderella Story -- Part 2
The Directer for the Cinderella Story, I feel, created this short film to portray his or her concern that romance is being lost among the younger generations and that sex is being treated as a boredom fill. He or she does an excellent job getting his or her point across by getting interviews from many people, both boys and girls, in the area. Adding on an excellent touch was adding the ages of those he or she interviewed to give the point out that these kids were just that, kids. He or she also expressed how he or she feels parental divorce can effect the mind of a child by pretty much blaming the parents for their children for turning out how they did. This is true to me because how a parent raises a child does determine a lot of how the child will act when he or she gets older and more independent. To me, it also seems that the directer wished for there to be more activities that teenagers could go around town since pretty much every single one of them counted boredom as one of the main reasons that they were having sex with complete strangers in the first place. I'm unsure if he or she meant to do it or not but he or she did a pretty good job at also connecting sex with smoking/drugs and alcohol. This is pretty true to me since back at my high school, if someone was using drugs/smoking or using alcohol, there was a good chance that they were also having sex. Overall, the directer did do a good job getting his or her point across about life not being a Cinderella Story.
