a good side i guess

I may not agree with the opinion or approach "a cenderella story" gave me, but the director did create this clip for a certain reason. I feel that the creator had a strong belief that divorces, lack of love, and a downplay of the seriousness of sex are main causes of the teenage sex epidemic. He is definately targeting an audience that is in the female high school freshman/sophomore range. Girls at this time are still open to opinion and generally find sexual activity unappealing or mystic. They are reluctant to try first hand, but still try to gather as much information as possible on the subject. when they view a video such as "a cinderella story", they may develop an opinion based from the content of the film. The message he wanted people viewing this film to recieve is that there is an apparent cause to all the adolescent sexual activity and it is a big problem in todays society because it destroys the morals and views that are heteronormative. This ac tis not viewed as acceptable by a mojority of society and this behavior can be stopped if kids are educated on the feelings and emotions that come along with premarital sex. The director even interviews fifteen year olds just to show that the ages kids are starting sexual encounters is as early as the age of fifteen. I do not necesarrily agree with his approach to this debate, but i do respect his view and opinion on the matter.
